NEW vs. OLD/USED

In 2004 hubby & I bought a brand new truck. In 2008 after towing our 16ft enclosed trailer through the Narrows we decided that a gas truck was not going to work for us driving in the Winter with a full trailer. The "old" Ford just couldn't do it. So we traded it in and bought a Chevy diesel truck. Its been good to us although we have done some repairs to it. This week we found out it needs the biggest repair of all. :0 We love the truck and yes, vehicles wear and tear. In the back of my mind I think oh to have new and not worry about repairs. But what do you do, buy new whenever your warranty ends?? Our truck that we bought new cost us $36,000.00, 4 years later we traded it in for $12,000.00 and had added all kinds of goodies to it like command start and new tires and new exhaust. Our current truck was $68,000.00 new - who can afford that for a vehicle.

So anyways, off to Brandon next week to have the truck repaired and hopefully, this will be the end of it, for a while.
