MARCH ALREADY

Its been awhile. Don't know what we've been up to to keep me away from the computer but I haven't been there. Better things to do.

We haven't had much in the way of hockey so we've been spending more time at home. You would think that I would be starting my Spring cleaning but I haven't really. Need to get off my ass and start.

Yesterdays temps did a number on the rink. I think we'll start chopping up the ice and hauling it out to the field with the hopes that we still might have some grass back there.

Little Man has been playing some 4 on 4 hockey in Dunrea. He doesn't like it so we've decided to take the week off until the real stuff starts next week in town. He has been taking these 1 hour sessions to try new things but some of the other kids are to serious about the game and well, LM is a little tired of the constant slack he gets for experimenting with his game.

I caved and got myself and iPhone. I'm loving it. DH says the kids and I are all nerds sitting around playing with our phones and listening to music. He is so technology resistant it is incredible. He got my Blackberry and still isn't willing to try it and figure it out. Men.

The kids are starting to get excited about Grandma & Grandpa coming on in the next couple months. I'm just hoping to have some of the basement clutter cleaned up. I have decided to put a box in each of their rooms and have them put the stuff they no longer play with inside. Then we'll decide to sell it or give it away. Of course some stuff will just have to be removed because LM doesn't like to part with much. But the box thing motivated him when I told him he had room for nothing else which was a problem considering his birthday is coming.

Which reminds me, I haven't planned a thing. Which isn't like me. Better do that tonight and get on it. Its only 3 weeks away. Can't believe my baby boy is going to be 8.
