WHOOPING COUGH

With the recent outbreak, of course I panicked and DH and I went in today and got our immunization. Not for me, but for the safety of my kids. I'm a strong believer in herd immunity and so if there is something I can do to prevent my kids from becoming ill, poke me! We got in same day but of course, having the Public Health Nurse as your neighbor and friend does have its benefits. While it didn't do me any good when I told her that DH liked it rough and she was free to make it hurt when he got his needle. Anyways, tonight I go to bed with a sore arm! It feels like someone punched me in the shoulder. She told me I was a wimp when I texted her tonight to tell her she hurt me, lol.
