JUST A LITTLE DAMAGE

I've been a busy girl.

I went out with some girls from town last Friday. Lots of fun. Nice to get to know them out of the play group setting. We're hoping to make it a monthly ritual.

Saturday we had Colton's friend over for a play date. On our way back to our place we ran to the Co-op for some lunch meat. It was busy and I was looking for a spot following another truck through the lot. He wheeled into a spot and threw it into reverse and drove into the side of the truck! My horn-honking and the frantic waving of another customer didn't slow him down. I got out and couldn't find anything at first. Yep, right in the nerf bar. I now of the imprint of his bumper hitch. Ok, better than a door that's for sure. But he didn't want to give me his information and I was just about to tell him, buddy, don't make me call my husband (ER was out for a visit too) or your gonna be dealing with the 5-0. Anyways, I called CTP from the parking lot and him & ER were gonna come down but I assured them it was ok. They did end up driving by anyways to make sure everything was ok. Took it to town today and I guess we're covered.

Then this week Colton had his first sleep over. It went alright except for the fact that they didn't want to go to sleep. No harm done, its summer holidays anyways. So they played video games. They were getting along just fine and it all went over well.

I'm still playing around with my flower beds. I'm picky and I would love to have them all done now but that's not going to happen. I need to give things a chance to grow to see what it looks like. But I did get some new stuff today.

We've been playing in the pool alot which means I have a pretty good tan. And Colton is just like me. He's nice and brown. Its been so hot though that we only go out for a couple hours at a time and then come in, cool off and go out again.



Colton was practicing for swimming lessons which we didn't end up going to. Next year. And I will not do them in Killarney. The water is so green, yuck. His lessons started right after school ended and I didn't want to be up first thing in the morning. I was selfish and wanted some sleep in time. Oh well, next year. But he has been practicing.



I am on to my 5th book on my eReader and I haven't bought one yet. So far its really paying off. Today I bought a case and a clip on light so I don't have to worry about it getting scratched in my purse. Love it.

I've also been fortunate enough to meet someone I enjoy spending time with. Someone who doesn't try to be someone she isn't and we seem to have a lot of the same interests. Things are starting to fall into place.

Other than that, we've just been busy doing everyday stuff.

Never a dull moment that's for sure.
