This is something very few know. CTP & I are trying very hard to deal with this devastating blow. To know my DH is to know he is VERY close to this particular uncle.
Just before Christmas CTP's uncle was diagnosed with cancer. They told him it was on his stomach and esphogus. My Grandfather had this cancer 16 years ago. No problems, surgery. Cancer free now.
At the beginning of April he went in for his surgery. They went in and closed him back up!! On May 31st they are going to start chemo and radiation and all that "fun" stuff and hopefully he'll get some longevity from those treatments.
It was very upsetting for CTP & I this weekend when his Mom came out to have had this Uncle send us out some of his things. One being his 25 year service watch that he wanted CTP to have.
This is not what CTP needed with everything else he has been going through. Its been a long and trying road for both of us.
We are praying for him.
