FIFTY SHADES OF GREY

Yep, I had to read it. Everyone was talking about it, it was all over TV. So I found the three best sellers from E L JAMES. For me the first 8 chapters or so were boring AND the writing isn't all that great. Needless to say, once I got past chapter 8 I couldn't put them down. I was smart and downloaded them to my iPhone and read them on there which was so convenient because I have my phone with me all the time so if I had a couple minutues, I was reading. I don't think we've seen the last of the Grey's. I think like the Twilight series, E L James is on to something here and if she were smart she'd continue writing. I thought the books were very much like my beloved Blackdagger Brotherhood series although the BDBH has much more story to them. Anyways, today we are taking the kiddos fishing and I'll be taking Divergent with me, on my iPhone of course (a bit smaller than my eReader). Its supposed to be something like The Hunger Games which I also really enjoyed. I didn't think I could read them at first but they are good. One of these days I'll get to the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series which I wanted to read after the newest BDBH but was sidetracked by The Hunger Games and now the Fifty Shades Trilogy. Not enough hours in the day for all the things I want to do. What I should be doing is sitting on the deck, in the sun, working on my tan while I'm reading. My dear friend Jill and I have been talking books when we get together and I'm happy that she's enjoyed some of my suggestions. Its nice to talk to someone about something other than the newest gossip. I love my Jill time.
