Yesterday we enjoyed the Santa Parade in town and then a walk to the mall and some browsing in the stores. We met up with a couple of the neighbors and chatted while the kids looked around.
This morning we were up at 6:15 a.m. for hockey. YAWN. The roads weren't as bad as we thought they were going to be and everyone made it there safe and sound. Our boys are now 4-0 for the season. The team is a great compliment of kids, both major and minor Novice. I think Colton will learn a lot from the major kids and he'll also make some new friends. CTP & I were talking the other night about how much we enjoy the hockey season. Visiting, hockey, out with the kids and socializing. Games are a little different this year as DH is on the bench so its mostly LP and I but that's alright. Next weekend we are in Reston/Hartney and Carberry. Busy weekend. Hope there's no freezing rain and snow!!!
DH and I are again contemplating the future. Seems like we've made up our minds. No point in upsetting the apple cart. Everyone is content.
DS asked Santa for a goalie mask today!!! Good cause DH & I bought one. We haven't had a chance to look at it yet cause we've been so busy but we'll get it sorted out and wrapped up and under the tree. LP refused to sit on Santa's knee. Girls.
We also bought our Christmas tree yesterday. I think we'll wait a couple days to put it up but I did want to get one before they were all picked over. So our tree is resting outside waiting to come in, warm up and be decorated.
Other than that, its pretty quiet here. Tomorrow I am planning on making a trip to Brandon with a friend of mine and her daughter to see Breaking Dawn. Sundays were our best bet because of our hockey and her being a local business owner/employee. Looking forward to it.
