Friends of ours took Little Man & I in a ride in their town fire truck. We got a tour of their fire hall and then Little Man got to pick which fire truck he wanted a ride in.
The Little Princess was scared and decided she was staying back with DH. Worked for me cause I got to go with the Little Man.
Off we went down the highway in this big beast, tank full of water (it was about 3,000 gallons) up the great big hill with the sirens on and lights flashing. What a blast! LM was a little scared of the jake brake and the sound it made but otherwise he was fine.
I thought it was a great experience for him and something that a lot of kids might not get to do.
