Yes, by the police. For the very first time. We were coming home from Brandon when we went and got our truck fixed. The kids were in the back (obviously) tormenting the bunny and I just wanted to be home. I know our truck is out a bit since CTP & MI put the lift it and that the tires through it out some more. But I didn't think it was more than 4 or 5 kms. Anyways, I got pulled over for doing 117km (a $238.00 ticket)and got away with a warning and a lecture by an officer that couldn't even make eye contact with me, lmao.
Turns out I am out roughly 11kms. Yikes. I have been speeding since January, 2009 January thinking I was following the limits.
A couple weeks ago, CTP got pulled over. Uhm, makes you wonder! After getting in crap for not having his license or registration (yikes) he also got it for not having a flag on his piece of pipe (we were doing our sump pump reno) and of course, the tires.
Which led us to our latest truck repair. This one strictly cosmetic but UP there in price again. Not only that, a huge Ebay/Paypal refund fiasco. UGH! Anyways, hubby has ordered extended fender flares - or Bushwackers - something only us redneck, big truck driving people would know. After agreeing on the style we ordered them and are hoping they are in Rolla this week so CTP can put them on and we can head to Winnipeg without any trouble from that police service.
Ah, never a dull moment here. The best part of the whole CTP getting pulled over thing is that it happened in front of Colton's friends house and Colton & his friend were outside playing watching the whole thing. Boy did they give him a tune up and an interrogation later that evening. Nothing like getting rheemed out by a bunch of 6 year olds, lmao.
