INSURGENT

While I didn't enjoy book 2 as much as I did Divergent, but it was good. I'm enjoying the storyline much more than The Hunger Games and I'm looking forward to the 3rd book although I'm not sure when its expected. I'm not sure where I have found all my time to read in the last while but I've been doing a lot of it which is good because it gives me some much needed down time. Between kids schedules and DH's stuff, I need it. My plan was to finally give The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series a try but I ended up starting Bared to You by Sylvia Day. Very much like the Fifty Shades series but much better writing, they both have issues and no S&M so far. I realize the book has caused a lot of out roar from people who aren't into that smut in books. I've been following a couple threads about the book and find it really amusing that there are people who want to get in on the conversation but keep trashing the scences in the book! If you don't have any interest in it, don't comment. When the kids and I were recently at our local library I asked the head librian there if the book had been banned. She told me they had so many requests for the book that it warranted buying copies for our library. She told me she hadn't read them herself and said "I'm not the book police. I'm not judging what other people read." I loved it. To each their own. Anyways, in my opinion, Veronica Roth is definitely worth trying out especially if you liked The Hunger Games. Fifty Shades was good too if you can deal with the sex which is something we all do. And so far, Bared to You is alright too. I wonder if I'll ever get to the Dragon Tattoo series?
