KILLARNEY LAKE

A couple weekends ago we were lucky enough to be asked by our neighbors to go out on the lake with them. What a great afternoon. It was the first time CTP & I had been out on Killarney Lake and it sure does give you a whole new perspective of where you live. It is BEAUTIFUL. Its such a shame that the lake is having so many issues with the algae. I have to admit that the algae isn't as thick as I thought it would be but its still there and its everywhere. Of course some places are worse than others.

Rene - you asked me how big the lake is and I can now tell you that its 4 miles long. I was surprised at how big it really is. And its a busy lake on the weekends with the cottagers/campers as well as the locals. Everyone has a boat. Well not everyone but pretty close. It was nice to get out on the lake and see some of the houses from the lake side, especially our neighbors houses. And to see where some of the other people we have met in town live as well. Some of the yards are just amazing.

Anyways, it was both of my kids first time in a boat. They both enjoyed it and Colton even went tubing. The boys sat in the tube and ate chips, lol.



And believe it or not, we got CTP out there too.



Here is a picture of one of the houses. I've been dying to see what the front of this place looked like. Now I know.
