Thursday CTP & I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. We didn't really celebrate but we acknowledged.
That night Colton came down with a fever and headache. Kinda like I've been feeling for the last couple of weeks. Poor little man. I spent one night in his bed with him cause he wouldn't have it any other way. I woke up feeling twisted up like a pretzel. He's starting to feel better today but has a cough and well, for those who know me well, you know I don't like coughs. Makenna had it as well but she seems to be a lot more resilient than Colton. She's a girl.
We had a surprise visit from our dearest friends the Riglin's on Saturday evening. God I love those people. Tash makes me laugh (Scrotum Child). We had a nice visit, as always.
On Saturday my dishwasher went on the fritz. We are waiting for our local guy to call this afternoon and see if it can be fixed. If it can't there is an identical model in town which we'll buy and I've already called my favorite plumber in town and asked him if he'd be free for me this week. All set. Not what we needed when we were planning to leave for a couple days and do something different with the kids and shop and all that stuff but hey, what can you do? I hate washing dishes and I am not going with and my kids and myself need some time out of Killarney.
We are invited to another party this weekend (Thursday actually) which will change our trip plans but oh well.
We've been trying to enjoy the outdoors when its not to hot which is ODD for me cause I like the heat but I can't handle the headaches.
Other than that I don't know much else. I've been using my camera some more and have been scrapping. I need to send some pictures out.
Oh, and Colton's soccer team finally made the paper. What a great season it was. Gonna sort miss the level next year when he moves up but hey, what can you do. He loves it and he's actually pretty good at it. And a lot of the kids from the block play which is really nice.
Did I mention we got out onto the lake for the first time last weekend? What a great afternoon.
